Hi there! I'm MK

Well...I tried to be a fiction writer. And I tried to be a serious blogger.

Then I started letting myself write about silly things like my five chins or why Dave Ramsey is ruining my life...and it just seemed to fit me better.

So, here you'll find a "little bit of light": a bit of laughter, a little Jesus, and one little person trying to be a light right where she is...which happens to be in a little basement apartment (at the corner where Low-Income and Sketchy meet), married to an amazing PhD candidate, and mommying two precious girls.

Oh, and watching Wheel of Fortune like it's going out of style.
